THE CHALLENGE
The Fore is the UK’s only venture philanthropy fund dedicated to supporting small charities and social enterprises. We were inspired by their mission and wanted to help by producing a video that positions The Fore as a cause worth supporting to philanthropists and corporate partners, showcasing why their work matters by spotlighting some of the charities they’ve backed and the transformative impact they have had.

THE PROCESS
We started by identifying the story and focused on how it would be received by their target audience. The key message was The Fore doesn’t just provide funding, but gives wrap-around business support and facilitates real transformation for promising grassroots charities. We worked with the contributors to script authentic content that addressed sector-wide challenges while positioning The Fore as the solution.
Through our meetings with Mary Rose Gunn and the team, one message emerged clearly: The Fore’s deep commitment to their charities and the extraordinary lengths they go to support them. We were determined to capture this genuine care and authenticity on film. Our strategy centred on creating a warm, informative, and inspiring piece that would weave together in-person interviews with branded graphics, building a compelling narrative while maintaining The Fore’s professional yet positive voice. To bring this vision to life, we interviewed key contributors from The Fore’s network, allowing their stories to speak to the organisation’s true impact.
